Peter Dijkstra

Peter Dijkstra (Jongenssopraan) was born in 1978 and was a member of the Roder Jongenskoor (The Roden Boys Choir). For several years he was the main soloist and recorded a solo album 'Music for a While' in 1991. Other achievements were singing the role of first boy in The Netherlands Opera Foundation's production of The Magic Flute. He worked with Gustav Leonhardt, Sigiswald Kuyken and Max van Egmond on a complete series of Bach cantatas. He wrote his own version of 'Morning has broken' for treble voice which he sings on the choir's 10th anniversary album.
